REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The suspect of alleged steamy conversation case, Firza Husein, wore purdah and black clothes. He was summoned as a witness of the same case with Muhammad Rizieq Shihab as the suspect, on Monday (June 12).
Firza had the examination for 13 hours at Special Crime Unit of Jakarta Metro Police. She denied all the accusation related to the distribution of pornography content, steamy conversation, and close relationship to Habib Rizieq.
“All have been denied,” said Firza.
Police had named Rizieq and Firza as the suspects of alleged distribution of steamy conversation and vulgar pics on Monday (May 29).
Habib Rizieq was charged by using Article 4 verse 1 juncto Article 29 and or Article 6 juncto Article 32 and or Article 9 juncto Article 34 of Law No. 44 in 2008 on Pornography. It was threatened by over five years of imprisonment.
Investigators said Habib Rizieq was in Saudi Arabia since April 26, to avoid police's summoning. Meanwhile, Habib Rizieq's lawyer said his client was there to have umrah pilgrim.
