Indonesia grabs more medals in chess and cycling

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian chess team has shown the best performance in arena of SEA Games 2013 in Myanmar. They are able to grab four medals, consisting of four golds, two silvers and four bronzes. The target has been achieved as each members of team was able to present a medal to the country.

"This is a very proud achievement of us. Indonesian chess team resulted the best during four time SEA Games in 2003, 2005, 2011 and 2013," Chairman of Indonesia Chess Federation (Percasi), Hashim Djojohadikusumo said recently.

Percasi focussed on chess coaching through early age group. It makes Indonesian chess triumphing at SEA Games. Djojohadikusumo thanks you to all trainees, coaches, team managers and Indonesian chess players. There is no struggle in vain. Indonesian people are very proud of them all.

Indonesian bikers team also won gold medals in category of men's road bicycle racing in Naypyitaw on Wednesday. The team members are Robin Manulang, Aiman Cahyadi and Bambang Suryadi. They recorded time of 13 hours, 37 minutes and 5 seconds in a distance of 163 kilometers.

Red and White team also managed to beat Malaysian team, which got silver medal with time of 13 hours, 41 minutes and 4 seconds. Congratulations, Indonesia!
